iOS App Store Checker is a free web tool that queries all 175 Apple App Store storefronts to report an app's availability, user ratings, reviews, and chart rankings by country. Built for app developers, ASO specialists, and product teams, it pulls data directly from Apple's public APIs in real time.
Who is this for?
- App developers — verify your app's global availability and catch regional takedowns.
- ASO specialists — benchmark ratings and chart rankings across every market.
- Product & marketing teams — export country-level data for launch planning and competitive analysis.
About the iOS App Store Checker
Apple's App Store Connect doesn't provide chart ranking data, so there's no built-in way to know where your app stands in each country. On top of that, comparing ratings across storefronts is painfully manual — you have to switch countries one by one. This tool solves both problems by querying every storefront at once and presenting availability, ratings, reviews, and rankings in a single view.
How it works
Paste an App Store link or numeric App ID, choose which countries to check, and get a real-time breakdown of your app across 175 storefronts. The tool checks availability, ratings, user reviews, and chart positions directly from Apple, then lets you export the full report as CSV, JSON, or email.
Data is fetched live from Apple each time you run a check — results reflect the current state of the App Store at the time of analysis.
FAQ
What does this tool check?▼
It queries every Apple App Store storefront worldwide to check if your app is available, its rating and number of ratings, recent user reviews, and chart rankings in each country.
How many countries are covered?▼
The tool checks 175 App Store storefronts across 5 regions: US & Canada, Europe, Africa/Middle East/India, Latin America/Caribbean, and Asia Pacific.
Where does the data come from?▼
All data comes directly from Apple's public iTunes Search API, RSS feeds, and storefront endpoints. No third-party data sources are used.
Is this tool free?▼
Yes, completely free with no account required. You can run as many checks as you like.
Can I export the results?▼
Yes. After the analysis completes you can export the full report as CSV, JSON, or share a summary via email.
How long does an analysis take?▼
A full check across all 175 storefronts typically completes in about 5 minutes. You can also select specific countries to speed things up.
Why are chart rankings missing for some countries?▼
Some smaller App Store storefronts (e.g. Anguilla, Bermuda) have very few apps and Apple may not publish full chart rankings for them. Even widely popular apps can appear unranked in these markets. This is an Apple limitation, not a data gap in the tool.
Who is this tool for?▼
App developers, ASO specialists, and product teams who want to verify their app's global availability, monitor ratings across markets, or spot regional issues.
Can I use this to check a competitor's app?▼
Absolutely. Any app published on the Apple App Store can be looked up — just paste its URL or numeric App ID. This makes it easy to benchmark competitors across all 175 storefronts.
What is an App Store storefront?▼
A storefront is Apple's regional version of the App Store for a specific country or territory. Each storefront can have different app availability, pricing, ratings, and chart rankings. There are 175 storefronts worldwide.
How do I find my app's Apple ID?▼
Open your app's listing on the App Store in a browser. The numeric ID is in the URL after '/id' — for example, in 'apps.apple.com/app/id123456789' the ID is 123456789. You can also find it in App Store Connect under App Information.
Does this work for iPad or macOS apps?▼
The tool queries the iOS App Store, which includes universal apps that run on iPad. Mac App Store apps that are also listed on the iOS store will appear. Standalone macOS-only apps are not covered.
What is ASO and how does this tool help?▼
ASO (App Store Optimization) is the process of improving an app's visibility within the App Store. This tool helps by showing how your app's ratings, availability, and chart rankings compare across every country — data that is essential for a global ASO strategy.
